Your Role:
Deliver specialist care in our state-of-the-art operating theatres, spanning Orthopaedics, ENT, Gynaecology, and General Surgery.
Foster continuous professional growth while supervising and mentoring junior and unregistered staff, including students and trainees.

Job responsibilities
Provide specialist care throughout the surgical journey, including pre‑op, intra‑op and post‑op support in a variety of specialities such as orthopaedics, ENT, gynaecology and general surgery.
Supervise and mentor junior and unregistered staff, including students and trainees.
Participate in preceptorship and ongoing professional development activities.
Person Specification
Qualifications & Professional Registration
* Degree / Diploma in ODP studies or equivalent
* Operating Department Practitioner Registration with the appropriate professional body HCPC
Knowledge, Training & Experience
* The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English
* Willing to undertake both internal and external training programmes
* Demonstrate an interest or previous experience in caring for patients in theatre setting
Skills & Abilities
* Willing to undertake further study
