Start date: September 2026 Contract: Full-time, permanent Location: St Martin’s C of E Primary School, Lower Church Lane, Tipton, DY4 7PG St Martin’s really is a special place to be! We are a one-form entry church school located in the diverse community of Tipton. We are excited to be recruiting a Class Teacher to join our team. This role is open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs). Year group will be allocated based on the experience, strengths and preferences of the successful candidate; we are open to candidates with a preference for EYFS up to Year 6. We are also open to a range of subject specialisms, and welcome teachers who can bring their own passions and expertise to enrich our curriculum. Above all, we are looking for the right person, someone who will fit naturally into our warm school family, live out our values, and help our children grow in confidence, character and faith. Our Curriculum and Pedagogy - We use the CUSP curriculum across a range of subjects. CUSP is grounded in evidence informed practice and a deep understanding of how children learn best. Its pedagogy emphasises: * Carefully sequenced learning that builds knowledge over time * Explicit vocabulary instruction to strengthen understanding and communication * Retrieval practice to help children remember and apply what they’ve learned * High quality modelling and explanations * Ambitious, inclusive content that ensures every child can succeed Teachers at St Martin’s are supported with clear structures, high quality resources and ongoing professional development that helps them deliver CUSP with confidence, consistency and creativity.
