We invite candidates to apply for the position of Depot Based PDI Engineer in our Wakefield depot.
As a Depot based PDI engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out pre delivery inspections of our Scissor Lifts, Booms and Telescopic Handlers to a high standard in readiness for our valued customers.
Role and responsibilities:
* Working closely with the depot senior engineer.
* Inspecting our equipment and carrying out maintenance as agreed by the senior engineer.
* Recording your inspections using hand held devices.
* Ensuring that our equipment is maintained to a very high standard.
* Ensuring the utmost levels of service are provided to our customer base.
Skills and Experience:
* NVQ level 2 preferable but not essential.
* Relevant training will be provided
Experience in the powered access, telescopic handler or general hire sector is preferable but not essential as training can be provided for the right candidate. If you have transferable skills and a good work ethic, Summit Platforms can organise for you to shadow our qualified engineers and attend a structured PDI training course.
