Job Description
Provide efficient clerical support to all employees within the establishment and assist in delivering front-line services to users. This role supports the promotion, delivery, and integration of the Council’s key objectives, including the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value.
Requirements
The duties involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants must become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member for Regulated Work with these groups, or be subject to a PVG Scheme Record Update, before a formal offer of employment is made. PVG records are regularly updated, and any relevant information will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

The Individual
This is a temporary, part-time, term-time position based at Gargieston Primary School, until 31 March 2026. The role involves 15 hours per week: Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 8.45 am to 2.15 pm, as directed by the line manager. The full-time salary ranges from £24,333 to £25,353 per annum; the part-time, term-time salary ranges from £8,944 to £9,319 per annum.
