Job Description:
The Role
The role of Project Installation Manager will be to act as a steer and support for the Service department, taking on ownership of projects after manufacturing up to installation and commissioning. The successful Project Installation Manager will be directly responsible for 2 Service Engineers, always ensuring sufficient resources for clients.
Acting as the day-to-day point of contact for clients, responsibilities will include:
* Booking in installations
* Advising clients if and when servicing of products is required
* Upselling new projects
* Allocating resources
* Preparing method statements and risk assessments
* Being the point of contact for the client
* Ensuring flights, hotels, etc., are booked for Engineers
* Writing reports
* Controlling the budget
The Person
To be successful in this role, you will:
* Have a relevant mechanical qualification or relevant mechanical industry experience
* Have project management experience, with responsibility for delivering projects on time and within budget
* Be able to travel internationally when required, up to 3 times per year
* Be able to read and understand technical drawings
* Have knowledge of installation processes and challenges
