We are recruiting a Development Manager to support the delivery of development opportunities across a diverse land portfolio. This role will focus on progressing alternative uses on existing freehold sites – including renewables and small-scale residential while also helping identify and assess new land opportunities for the wider business.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong interest in land and development who is keen to build experience delivering projects, particularly on complex or challenging sites.
The Role
Support the identification and delivery of development opportunities across a varied land portfolio.
Progress alternative uses on existing freehold sites, including renewable energy and small-scale residential schemes.
Assist in identifying and assessing new sites to support future business growth.
Work with internal teams and external consultants to progress planning, development and land-related matters.
Help manage key stages of the development process including site appraisals, planning support and stakeholder engagement.
Contribute to resolving development challenges associated with operational or previously developed land. Requirements
Background in estates, planning, land, agency or development.
Experience or strong interest in land promotion, development or site acquisition.
Professional accreditation with RICS or RTPI is beneficial but not essential.
Commercial awareness and the ability to work across multiple projects.
Motivated, proactive and keen to develop a career in land and development. Package
Salary in the region of £40,000 – £50,000 depending on experience.
