We are currently looking for a Senior Calibration Technician (Instrumentation and Process Controls) to join a Global Biopharmaceutical manufacturing company based in the Kent area.
As the Calibration Technician (Instrumentation and Process Controls), you are responsible for ensuring optimal performance of various instruments and equipment that measure heat, light, voltage, amperage, vacuum, and magnetic resistance.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Senior Calibration Technician (Instrumentation and Process Controls) will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Ensure Calibration and Maintenance Standards are maintained and optimized. Working on various types of sensors, including pressure, temperature, flow, mass, humidity and PH metres.
2. Serve as the technical lead within the maintenance team for process control issues generated from PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems.
3. You will analyse results and may develop test specifications and electrical schematics. You will carry out reliability and performance tests on equipment and make adjustments required.
4. Develop controls and good practices for PLC, SCADA, and HMI to ensure recovery in the event of failure.
