We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing highquality service in a busy care environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, including residents' rooms, communal areas, bathrooms, and corridors
* Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules as directed by the Housekeeping Manager
* Ensure safe use, care, and storage of cleaning equipment and materials
* Adhere to infection prevention and control procedures at all times
* Change bed linens, replenish supplies, and ensure resident areas are tidy and welcoming
* Report any maintenance issues or concerns promptly
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the overall smooth running of the home
Essential Requirements:
* Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or a similar role
* Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safe working practices
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Commitment to maintaining high hygiene and safety standards
Desirable:
* Experience working in a Nursing/Residential Home
* Understanding of infection control in a care setting
* GCSE English (A-C or equivalent)
Skills & Knowledge:
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills
* Ability to follow cleaning schedules and safety guidelines
* Understanding of COSHH regulations (training can be provided)
* Friendly and respectful manner when interacting with residents, families, and staff
