About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to join a modern, forward-thinking pathology service within a well-equipped hospital environment.
Due to increasing workload and expanding cancer services, we are looking for a Consultant with specialist interests to complement the existing team.
You will play a key role in delivering a high-quality cellular pathology service, supporting clinicians, GPs, and wider healthcare teams, while contributing to multidisciplinary cancer care.
Responsibilities Provide a comprehensive cellular pathology service, including histopathology reporting Participate in and contribute to multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings Develop and maintain specialist interests (e.g.
urology, skin, GI, or breast pathology) Support clinical decision-making through accurate and timely diagnosis Contribute to service development, clinical governance, and audit Participate in on-call duties (mainly advisory for police cases) Support training and development of Biomedical Scientists and other staff Engage in CPD, appraisal, and revalidation processes Why Work in Guernsey?
