Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, specialists, and administrative staff, to ensure seamless patient care. Conduct routine physical exams, health screenings, and immunizations while emphasizing preventative healthcare practices. Create and maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems in compliance with privacy and healthcare regulations. Educate patients on health conditions, treatment options, medication use, and lifestyle modifications to promote well-being. Refer patients to specialist physicians or healthcare providers as necessary. Stay informed of advancements in medical research, technology, and public health initiatives to ensure the best possible care for patients. Contribute to ongoing training and mentoring initiatives for medical staff, junior doctors, and interns. Qualifications Medical degree (MD or MBBS) from an accredited institution. Board certification or eligibility to practice as a General Practitioner. Valid medical license in the practicing location or eligibility for licensing. Strong diagnostic, clinical, and decision-making skills with demonstrated attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds. Commitment to providing equitable, patient-centered care in culturally diverse communities. Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) or willingness to learn. Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment. Day-to-day Conduct patient consultations in person or via telemedicine, addressing a variety of medical concerns and monitoring ongoing treatments. Manage patient caseloads and prioritize timely care for urgent cases. Perform diagnostic tests and procedures, such as blood tests, EKGs, and minor surgery where applicable. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment and care plans. Lead health education initiatives, including providing resources on wellness and preventative care measures. Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and training sessions to improve clinical practices and patient outcomes. Actively contribute to maintaining a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all patients, staff, and volunteers.
