Pastoral Support Worker – Maternity Cover. Grade E £29,093 - £31,586 pro rata

Whitleigh Community Primary School is seeking a Pastoral Support Worker to help pupils thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. The Role: We need a positive, approachable individual to support pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs by: ● Providing one-to-one and small group mentoring ● Supporting transitions throughout the school day ● Collaborating with families and external agencies ● Leading Team Around me and EHAT meetings ● Leading multi-agency meetings and maintaining safeguarding procedures
Requirements:
* GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Qualification, training, or experience in Psychology, Counselling, or STORM Training (or similar)
A passion for enhancing children's emotional and social well-being
Job Details:
* Hours: 15 per week (Monday - Thursday, 39 weeks per year)
* Start Date: ASAP
* Closing Date: 29th August (close of play)
* Interviews: Week commencing 1st September
