As Engineering Manager, you'll lead our engineering function to maximise plant reliability, efficiency, and safety - driving continuous improvement and supporting operational performance through effective maintenance strategies and strong team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver a preventative maintenance strategy to minimise downtime and optimise asset performance
* Lead, coach, and develop a multi-skilled engineering team, ensuring high performance and engagement
* Manage engineering budgets, contractors, and procurement to deliver cost-effective operations
* Drive CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) optimisation to improve planning and asset reliability
* Collaborate with operations on continuous improvement initiatives and production targets
* Lead capital expenditure projects and planned shutdowns through to completion
* Champion a strong safety culture and ensure full compliance with health & safety, environmental, and ISO standards
About You
* In-depth electrical and control systems skillset developed in a manufacturing environment
* Minimum of 3–5 years in an engineering management role within a manufacturing environment
* Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including PLCs and machine control systems
* Experience managing engineering budgets, both consumable and capital
* Proficient in CMMS administration and Microsoft Office suite
* A track record of leading multifunctional teams to deliver operational improvements
* HND or Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline
