Position: Practice Manager
Location: St. Austell
Employment: Full‑time, Permanent
Working hours: 44 per week (day shift)
Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, and develop the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient experience and ensure patient safety.
* Manage pharmacy staff, supervise direct reports and locums to maintain high standards of professional customer service and compliance with GPhC operating standards and clinical governance.
* Achieve all pharmacy‑related targets and deadlines.
* Deliver both patient care and commercial objectives, driving profitability while ensuring compliance.
* Maintain strong connections with in‑store, regional and home‑office teams, providing expert advice and support.
Schedule
* Week1: Sunday 09:00‑21:00, Monday 09:00‑21:00, Tuesday 09:00‑21:00, Thursday 09:00‑21:00.
* Week2: Monday 09:00‑21:00, Tuesday 09:00‑21:00, Wednesday 09:00‑21:00, Friday 09:00‑21:00.
Qualifications
* Fully qualified pharmacist with a current GPhC registration.
* Accredited to deliver national and local services for the NHS and private healthcare.
* Experience in line‑management while maintaining clinical practice.
* Ability to inspire and motivate a team to attain defined KRAs.
* Experience confronting and resolving challenging situations and maintaining solid relationships with field teams.
* Valid GPhC registration, right to work in the UK, safeguarding qualifications, DBS check and live update service enrolment required.
