Job Opportunity: Head Chef at Equans
Location: Dungeness B Power Station, Romney Marsh, Kent, TN29 9PX
Position Type: Permanent, 35 hours/week
Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary per annum and benefits package
Shift Pattern:
Monday - Friday 07:30 - 15:00
Responsibilities:
* Ensure kitchen staff adhere to quality, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
* Cook Breakfast & Lunch and support hospitality services
* Stay updated with culinary trends and kitchen processes
* Manage supplier relations and ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
* Assist chef manager with stock ordering
* Oversee maintenance of kitchen equipment and organize repairs
* Support development of new dishes and menu overhauls to attract customers

Candidate Profile:
Must demonstrate good teamwork and flexibility in working hours. Qualifications required include BTEC/NVQ or equivalent in craft-based training, Level 2 and/or 3 Food Safety, and Health & Safety certifications.
