Summary
The Governors of Rosegrove Nursery School are looking to appoint a skilled and motivated Early Years Practitioner to join our Nursery Team. The Nursery is a calm and purposeful environment where children are nurtured and motivated to learn. All staff are committed to ensuring that every child is supported to achieve their very best.
The successful candidate will be leading our After School Club provision from 3.30pm – 5.30pm Monday to Friday, Term time only.
We are looking for a Practitioner who can support children aged from 2 – 4 years, attending our After School Club. Experience of developing the learning and meeting the individual needs of children this age is required. It is essential that the successful candidate can work on their own initiative and is self-motivated.
This is a temporary appointment until 16th July 2026.
This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro –rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
* Relevant Early Years Level 3 Child Care qualification (or equivalent), as listed on the DFE Website
* Paediatric Aid Certificate (dated in the last two years)
* Food Hygiene Certificate
* Child Protection and Safeguarding Training (Completed in the last 12 months)
Desirable Qualifications
GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above
Essential Experience
* Experience of working in an Early Years School / Nursery Environment working with children aged 0-5
* Knowledge of the EYFS
* Experience of supporting children with SEND
Desirable Experience
* Experience of managing staff
