Hours: Full time, Mon- Fri (term time only)
Rate of Pay: MPS/UPS (to scale)
Location: Coventry, CV1
Ideal person specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Bachelors degree in a modern foreign language
- Previous experience and proven track record teaching MFL in UK secondary schools
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of the UK national curriculum for MFL
- Fluent in 2 or more languages and confident teaching multiple languages
Job role and responsibilities:
- Deliver a range of engaging and challenging MFL lessons to all year groups
- Confidently deliver French and Spanish lessons, German would be a bonus but isn't a necessity
- Adapt lessons to suit individual learners within the class, catering to those with special educational needs
- Regularly assess pupils' progress and development through various summative and formative assessments
- Contribute to wider school community and actively engage in extra curricular activities and departmental activities
