Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispensing Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accurate and efficient dispensing of medications and products to our customers. Your strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively will be essential in providing a positive experience for our clients while supporting the overall operations of the pharmacy.
Duties
* Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the supervision of a qualified pharmacist.
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
* Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and inventory levels, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
* Utilise IT systems for managing stock levels, processing orders, and tracking dispensed items.
* Support leadership initiatives by training new staff members and promoting best practices within the team.
* Communicate effectively with customers, healthcare professionals, and colleagues to facilitate seamless operations.
Experience
* Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred but not essential.
* Strong customer service skills with a proven ability to engage positively with clients.
* Demonstrated leadership qualities, with the capability to motivate and guide team members.
* Proficiency in IT systems relevant to pharmacy operations is advantageous.
