Our Team Leaders play a critical role in helping deliver justice. This role will enable you to demonstrate and develop your leadership skills. You are responsible for ensuring your team delivers excellent administrative support and customer service to service users, judiciary, and management.

Your role
Leading your team, you’ll focus on the team’s area of work, prioritising and organising tasks, and ensuring your team is fully skilled to meet objectives. As an effective Team Leader, you recognise the importance of your team’s wellbeing and can motivate your team to succeed.
You will contribute to the delivery of operational, performance, and service standard targets, and provide statistical data for management and judiciary. Your keen eye for detail and desire for continuous improvement are key to your success. Monitoring performance, conducting reviews, and recommending improvements, managing change, and implementing new initiatives and legislation are essential aspects of the role.

Your Skills And Experience
* Ability to motivate and support your team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve effective performance.
* Experience working in an administrative role in a customer-focused environment.

* Excellent communication, organisational, and prioritisation skills.

Further Details:
New recruits to the Civil Service joining MoJ are expected to join at the band minimum.
These operational roles are customer-facing and require office-based work to provide HMCTS services to the public.
Standard full-time hours are 37 hours per week. HMCTS welcomes part-time, flexible, and job-sharing arrangements where they meet role demands and business needs, subject to prior agreement. All flexible working requests will be considered per the MoJ’s Flexible Working policy.
