VANRATH is delighted to assist an award-winning, bespoke Visitor & Events Management company in recruiting a Facilities Team Leader for their Belfast site.

Responsibilities:
1. Lead the Facilities operational team (FOX) in pre-planned and reactive maintenance of systems, fabric, and utilities.
2. Proactively manage daily facilities operations, minimizing desk time with hot desking in place.
3. Act as a project leader within your area of responsibility as required.
4. Ensure compliance with processes and systems like WorkPal, supporting task planning and delivery by the FM team and contractors.
5. Maintain awareness of statutory requirements, ensuring full compliance in areas such as building support systems, gas, electricity, entertainment licenses, and statutory inspections.
6. Provide relevant training to the team to support assigned tasks.
7. Assist with procurement and stock control of system consumables and building materials.
The Ideal Person:
1. Possess a time-served qualification in disciplines such as MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) or have at least 3 years' experience related to building services and utilities in large public buildings.
2. Have experience and knowledge in key areas including CHP (Combined Heat and Power), large cooling systems, BMS, and building critical support systems, along with understanding statutory requirements.
