Responsibilities: We work closely with directors, our head of engineering, CRO and operational teams to improve and evolve all core systems. We identify opportunities for automation, efficiency gains and workflow improvements. We scope out and help drive implementation of new and novel initiatives and product features. We help coordinate large-scale software projects across departments. We research competitors, adjacent industries and international markets for ideas and innovation. We translate business ideas into clear product requirements and implementation plans. We help our head of engineering by properly thinking through workflows, edge cases and implementation logic before development begins. We push projects forward proactively and remove bottlenecks. We assist with implementation and rollout of ML-driven pricing and automation systems. We develop and improve collector-facing systems and tooling. We analyse operational pain points and identify commercially valuable solutions. We help lead and coordinate the development of automated auction buying and selling systems. We help create stronger collector retention, improved data insights and additional commercial opportunities through software-driven efficiencies and tooling.
