Description Pupil Support Worker St Crispin's School Salary: £27,257 - £29,850 (pro-rata for part-time and sessional) Hours: 30 per week, 39 weeks sessional Working pattern for position is Monday - Thursday 8.30 a.m. - 3.35 p.m. Friday 8.25 a.m. - 1.20 p.m. St Crispin’s is a special school for primary and secondary age pupils. The school meets the needs of learners with complex, long term additional support needs who require a significantly modified learning environment. The needs of learners are primarily associated with intellectual disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders. We moved into our new building in Burdiehouse in early 2022. Facilities include 12 classrooms, Art, Music, Home Economics classrooms, a PE hall and swimming pool. We also benefit from sensory and softplay rooms. Each class has a maximum of 6 learners. Pupil Support Workers work as part of a class team, along with the class teacher, to support each learner to reach their full potential. It is desirable that applicants should have experience working with children with intellectual disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
