Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Chelveston Road, NN10 Contract: Full-time, 5 days a week (8:30am-3:30pm) Start Date: ASAP We are seeking a caring and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive SEND school in Chevelston. The role involves working with pupils with mild special educational needs, supporting their learning and inclusion within the classroom. There are no behavioural needs associated with this role. The successful candidate will: Provide 1:1 or small-group support under the direction of the class teacher Support pupils’ academic progress, confidence, and independence Help adapt learning activities to meet individual needs Foster a positive, calm, and inclusive learning environment We are looking for someone who: Has experience working with children with SEND ( preferred ) Is patient, nurturing, and encouraging Works well as part of a team and follows guidance from teaching staff Has a genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs We offer: A welcoming and supportive school community Well-behaved, motivated pupils Ongoing support and guidance from experienced staff If you are passionate about helping children with SEND thrive, we would love to hear from you.
