Teaching Assistant – SEN Secondary School – Andover
We’re seeking a friendly and committed Teaching Assistant to join the team at a welcoming specialist secondary school in Andover. The school supports students aged 11–16 with moderate learning difficulties, providing a nurturing environment where every learner is encouraged to grow, succeed, and feel valued.
About the Role:
You’ll provide support to students both one-to-one and in small groups, assist with delivering personalised lessons, and promote positive behaviour. Working closely with teaching staff, you’ll play a key role in helping students achieve their goals and build confidence day by day.

* Contract: Permanent (term-time only)
* Hours: Full-time (part-time considered)
* Start: September
Who We’re Looking For:
* Someone patient, calm, and adaptable
* Experience supporting young people with special educational needs (beneficial but not essential)
* A team player who genuinely wants to make a difference
* Willing to assist with communication and social development support
Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Driving licence preferred but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
