Part 2 Architectural Assistant or newly qualified Architect, Bristol, £30k - £38k DOEIf you would like to know more about this opportunity, please contact Sophie Randle at RGB Recruitment ASAP!A well-established architectural practice in Bristol is seeking an experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant or recently qualified Architect to join the team on a full time maternity cover contract, with the possibility of this being a permanent offer. The role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive studio environment on a varied portfolio of projects, primarily within the residential, education and heritage sectors.This position would suit a confident and capable individual with strong design and technical skills, able to take ownership of defined project packages while contributing positively to wider project teams. The role provides exposure across all RIBA stages, from early design through to construction, working closely with senior staff, consultants and clients.Responsibilities: Supporting the project lead across all RIBA work stages, from early feasibility and concept design through to technical deliveryContributing to design development, reviews, client presentations and project meetingsPreparing and coordinating design and technical informationLiaising with clients, consultants, contractors and statutory authoritiesAssisting with tender and construction stage deliverySupporting site inspections and responding to technical or contractor queries where requiredEnsuring work is delivered to agreed quality standards and programme requirements Requirements: RIBA Part 2 qualified (or equivalent), or recently qualified Part 3Around 2-3 years' post Part 2 experience within a UK architectural practice, or 1 year post Part 3Experience working on residential, education and/or heritage projects preferredStrong design and technical ability with good attention to detailConfident working across multiple RIBA stagesGood understanding of UK planning policy and Building RegulationsAbility to manage time effectively and work across multiple projectsClear communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach Proficient in AutoCADExperience using Adobe Creative SuiteWorking knowledge of SketchUp or similar visualisation tools This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and professional practice offering flexible working, competitive benefits and a supportive team environment.
