Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Clinical Lead to join our Primary Care team at HMP Whatton, a category C Prison located in Nottinghamshire.
The Primary Care Clinical Lead will manage and lead a diverse team of 11 healthcare professionals, including nurses, assistant practitioners, and healthcare assistants. You will oversee clinical indicators and provide strong leadership and direction within a primary care setting.
Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical leadership and management to the registered nurses and care teams.
* Deputise on behalf of the Deputy/Head of Healthcare when required.
* Work closely with partners to maintain a robust, high-quality clinical service for patients.
* Model a culture of compassion, care, courage, commitment, communication, and competence.
* Clinical Lead will coach, line manage, and develop clinician staff; support and contribute to undertaking audits and governance.

Requirements:
* Registered Nurse - Adult with current professional qualification (NMC)
* Evidence of Continued Professional Development
* Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
* A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
* Excellent communication skills
* Existing line management experience and student nurse mentorship
