Manager, Supply Chain, Relay Operations Center India
We are seeking a Manager, Supply Chain, for the Relay Operations Center (ROC) in Hyderabad, to address real-time disruptions in the middle mile transportation network for Amazon North America. The role involves analyzing disruption patterns, collaborating with Tech, upstream/downstream teams, carriers, and Amazon site partners to develop automated solutions. The position requires working in a 24/7 environment with flexible shifts.
Responsibilities include:
1. Operational Performance: Monitor KPIs daily, maintain SLs, conduct audits and deep dives, and report results to senior leadership to influence decisions.
2. Shift Management: Collaborate with labor planning for volume forecasting, shift scheduling, ensuring time sheet compliance, managing OTs, and coordinating hiring with recruitment.
3. People Management: Lead large teams of 150+ members, conduct 1:1s, oversee coaching, team huddles, training, handle escalations, and develop supervisors.
4. Standard Work & Compliance: Communicate changes and ensure adherence.
5. Vision & Goals: Execute team objectives.
6. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with EU and NA stakeholders to meet goals.
7. Issue Resolution: Track and escalate network issues, determine corrective actions.
8. Development: Coach and mentor associates and managers for career growth.
Program Management Responsibilities:
1. Identify improvements and work with stakeholders for execution.
2. Transition processes to Hyderabad, coordinate hiring and training with NA/EU teams.
3. Utilize data systems (Excel, Access, SQL) for reporting and analysis.
4. Manage time effectively and work independently within policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
* 9-10 years in Operations Management, Program Management, or Supply Chain.
* Ability to align team priorities with business goals and manage trade-offs.
* Experience in managing multicultural teams and reporting analysis.
