The Role - Audit Senior
As an Audit Senior, you will:
* Lead audits from planning through to completion
* Supervise and review the work of junior team members
* Act as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit process
* Prepare and review financial statements in line with UK standards
* Assess risk and evaluate internal controls
* Ensure audits are delivered efficiently, on time and to a high standard
This is a hands‑on Audit Senior position where you'll be trusted to run your own jobs and make decisions.
What You'll Need
To be successful as an Audit Senior, you will have:
* Experience working in an accountancy practice in an audit-focused role
* Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards
* Experience leading audits and managing workflow
* Confidence dealing directly with clients
* Either ACA/ACCA qualified, part‑qualified, or qualified by experience
Exposure to more complex areas such as group audits, acquisitions, IFRS or restructures would be beneficial.
