Job Summary:

You will support the team with the supply of medicines throughout the hospital. There is also an opportunity to complete the NVQ level 2 in pharmacy services. You must possess good communication skills, be flexible, committed, and a good team player.
Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
Main Duties of the Job:
- Participate in weekend, bank holiday, and late-night rotas.
- Expected to work flexibly across our new Trust sites when service demands require it.
- After one year of hospital experience and on completion of NVQ 2, you will be eligible to move to a Band 3 Pharmacy Assistants post.

Person Specification:
Education:
* Minimum 4 GCSE's including Maths, English & Science. Grade 4 (C) or above.
Desirable:
* NVQ 2 Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
Experience:
* Stock control
* Customer service
Desirable:
* Previous Pharmacy experience.
Technical Skills:
* Accurate, numerate
* Basic keyboard skills
* IT literate
Desirable:
* Understanding of the role of a pharmacy assistant.
