Salary: £30,830.00 Annually
Hours: 2 sessions per week
Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality clinical care to patients registered at the GP surgery and support the delivery of the surgery’s operational plan.
* Maintain practice standards by participating in clinical governance activities and contributing to the improvement of health outcomes through audit and the Quality and Outcomes Framework.
* Provide clinical care as described in the job plan, including in‑person and video consultations, telephone triage, correspondence, results, medication reviews, prescription signing, and other clinical administration.
* Act as safeguarding lead, manage medicals, reports, home visits, surgery meetings and on‑call duties (excluding out of hours).
* Adhere to the highest professional standards set by the GMC and prioritise individual patient care.
* Collaborate with the Practice Manager and site clinical lead to support the development, delivery and review of the surgery action plan, including list growth, patient satisfaction, QOF, enhanced services, KPI targets, resource profile and cost management.
Ideal Candidate
* Current registration with the GMC and NHS GP Performers List and engaged in regular clinical work.
* GP accreditation (MRCGP or equivalent experience).
* Clear commitment to delivering quality, patient‑focused services.
* Sound knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and appropriate coding.
* Working knowledge of clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb (preferred).
Package Description
* Annual salary of £30,830.00 (*or up to £112,500 depending on experience for other GP roles*).
* Full indemnity cover.
* Six weeks annual leave and one week study leave pro‑rata.
