About the Job:
Based near Copthorne, our client is growing and currently recruiting for various roles within the business. One of those roles is a Class 2 HGV Delivery Driver. This role involves delivering barrels of alcohol and other miscellaneous items to the hospitality sector. Deliveries per day vary from 1-5 within London and the South, with no overnight stays or overly long days.
The role is straightforward but physically demanding, as it involves handling 60kg barrels. Deliveries are made to London or the South, depending on the week and weather conditions.
Start times are around 6/7 am, with the possibility of finishing mid-afternoon. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow as a driver and gain experience in the logistics and hospitality industries.
What’s on Offer:
This role is ongoing with the potential to go from temp to permanent. Initially, you will be employed through us and via an Umbrella Scheme for 12 weeks, after which you will transfer to the client and receive a PAYE contract.

About You:
Ideal candidates will have experience delivering in the logistics and hospitality industries, with familiarity with Curtain Siders and Tail Lifts. Competence in navigating with provided Sat Nav systems or backup on their phone is required.
You must have an up-to-date CPC and Tacho. Due to alcohol handling, this role may not be suitable for individuals whose religious or personal beliefs prohibit handling alcohol.

* Live within 10 miles of Crawley

* Full UK Class 2 license
* 2+ years Class 2 experience
* Own transport to the depot
* Willingness to learn and adapt
* Technologically competent
