Panel Wireman – Contract Opportunity
Location: Ipswich
Type: Contract
A client of mine is currently looking for an experienced Panel Wireman to join their team in Bedford.
Key Responsibilities:
* Wiring and assembly of electrical control panels from schematics and drawings
* Installation of components including relays, contactors, PLCs, and terminal blocks
* Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and layout drawings
* Carrying out point-to-point wiring and cable routing
* Testing and fault-finding on completed panels
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Panel Wireman or Electrical Fitter
* Ability to read and work from electrical schematics
* Experience with control panels and industrial equipment
* Good attention to detail and quality standards
* Relevant electrical qualifications desirable
* City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations or equivalent
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
