Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Bricklehurst Manor School, Stonegate East Sussex, TN5 7EL
Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum dependant on experience (not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
Start Date: January 2026

4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial: You can work one day less each week (or equivalent hours) while still receiving your full-time pay. 4DWW is subject to successful completion of probation and is not a contractual benefit.
About The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will take a creative, personalised approach to teaching, tailoring lessons to meet the individual needs of our pupils and delivering the curriculum in a way that maximises achievement, engagement, and personal development. This role supports pupils emotional, social, and academic development within a school with a strong safeguarding culture.

What You Will Do
* Deliver creative, personalised lessons for pupils with complex SEN and ASC needs.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences.
* Support pupils emotional, social, and academic development.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every pupil feels valued, supported, and motivated.
* Inspire pupils to engage with learning and develop confidence, independence, and life skills.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience and passion for working with SEN/ASC pupils
* Calm, engaging, and resilient, with an innovative teaching style
* Commitment to pupil wellbeing, safeguarding, and inclusive education
About The School
Bricklehurst Manor School is a brand-new, co-educational SEMH school located in Wadhurst, East Sussex, for pupils aged 11-16. The school will cater for up to 60 pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and associated additional needs. Acorn Education is part of Outcomes First Group, a leading provider of specialist education.
