Role: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Contract: Full-Time Hours / Fixed Term - 6 Months
Salary: Up to £28,000 (Dependent on experience)

About the Role:
Our Transactional Shared Services team is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join EG Group on a 6-month fixed term contract. In this role, you play a key part in ensuring a smooth end-to-end sales process for the organisation. Your efforts will contribute towards our wider finance strategy and will be an essential part of how we operate our business.

What you’ll be doing:
14. Monitoring the end-to-end cash process & investigating any discrepancies in between
15. Daily importing of cash processing reports onto SAP
16. Communicating and documenting discrepancy + forgery reports
17. Posting of debtors invoices and credit notes and allocation of cash receipts to customer accounts
18. Monthly reconciliation of cash and card GL’s – Involves writing off within a certain threshold and investigating outside of that threshold
19. Posting ad hoc journals when appropriate
20. Missing sales monitoring, escalation and resolution
21. Upload fuel sales, shop sales and investigating any variances
22. Escalating any issues in a timely and appropriate manner
23. Bank Reconciliations on a monthly basis
24. Sales Reconciliation
25. General administration and other ad-hoc duties as required

What we’re looking for:
26. Proven experience in an Accounts Receivable role, preferably in a Shared Services environment
27. Excellent client and customer service skills
28. Working knowledge of MS Office products
29. Must have strong academic record and experience in Finance
30. You will need to be a good communicator with the ability to present and explain financial information to all levels of management with a high standard of written skills.
31. Good interpersonal skills
32. Good analytical skills
33. Ability to meet demanding deadlines
34. Able to adapt style of communication depending on the audience and the nature of the information being communicated
