Requirements
Experience leading a team in a social care setting. 6 months of UK‑based work experience (any sector). Sponsorship to work in the UK is not available. Additional training will be provided.
About the Service
Ideally located for people living in Meltham, Honley, and Huddersfield, Rowan Court is a vibrant 15‑bed residential service for adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities and complex needs. The facility is lively, welcoming, and supported by a dedicated and supportive staff team to ensure adults receive the best possible care.
Day‑to‑Day Duties (Support Worker)
* Supporting with meals and drinks and encouraging participation in cooking and baking.
* Assisting with personal care, including bathing and showering.
* Building relationships with adults and their families to provide truly person‑centred, individualised care.
Senior Support Worker Responsibilities
* Supervising a dedicated team of Support Workers.
* Promoting person‑centred, high‑quality care.
* Conducting supervisions and one‑to‑ones with staff.
* Auditing, updating, and reviewing documentation, including care plans.
* Administering and auditing medication(s).
