Strathmore College is recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to join our Education team. We seek versatile, resilient, and committed individuals who can adapt their practice to support across all key stages. The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher, assisting children with their work, supporting pupil behavior, establishing good relationships, acting as a role model, and responding to individual needs.

Strathmore College is an SEN college for students aged 19 to 25.
This role will include:
1. Working in the college setting
2. Assisting tutors and helping students
This may involve working on-site or off-site, accessing the community or student work placements.

The successful candidate will have previous experience supporting in a classroom setting and a Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) appropriate to the teaching and learning environment of learners and young adults, along with the following characteristics:

* Communication: Effective communication is vital to understanding and meeting the needs of our young people. Good teamwork and communication ensure important information is shared with staff.
* Organisation: Strong organisational skills are essential to support educational activities and assist the class teacher and students.
* Caring: Our young people require compassionate care. If you are naturally caring, this role is suitable for you.
* Attentiveness: Tasks will vary, so being attentive to details and support opportunities is important.
