We are looking for a Technician to work within the Propellers department who will report to the Propellers Production Manager and the Operations Manager. The role involves the maintenance of aircraft components allocated to the relevant platform/programme.
Responsibilities:
1. Carry out strips, cleaning, inspections, builds, and tests of hydraulic components effectively and efficiently, following current authorized procedures as laid down in the relevant approved source documentation.
2. Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
3. Ensure the health and safety of all associates within the department by adhering to all safety instructions, completing and following risk assessments, and ensuring machinery, tools, PPE, and safety measures are safe and used properly.
4. Undertake work to the highest level of competence.
5. Contribute to team delivery of targets and goals.
6. Comply with Tool Control Procedures as per relevant ABM procedures.
7. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
8. Maintain high standards of quality, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
9. Participate in training and support team members, including mentoring apprentices.
10. Be flexible to undertake additional duties within the team to support output.
11. Work within and promote behavioral competencies.
12. Keep the work area clean and debris-free.
13. Ensure continuation training is up to date and relevant documentation is read and signed.
14. Adhere to our Quality Management Systems, Safety Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems, and related business manuals.
