Job Title: Site Supervisor
Location: Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire, United Kingdom
Main Responsibilities:
1. Site Planning: Coordinate on-site project activities related to the assigned discipline with the Site Manager or Site Construction Manager, including local resources, equipment, and milestones. Ensure agreement between customer and external resources on installation/construction targets, health and safety requirements, site organization, and policies.
2. Site Coordination and Monitoring: Manage all on-site activities from receiving the site area to handover, ensuring successful execution of start-up, installation, erection, testing, and commissioning in line with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.
3. Stakeholder Relations: Act as a project representative, building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and other local organizations.
4. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Ensure a detailed and current construction H&S plan is in place for each work package, compliant with company policies. Promote health and safety, empower to suspend activities if violations occur, and take necessary steps to mitigate risks.
5. Equipment and Material Handling: Oversee proper handling, storage, and installation of equipment, coordinating logistics to ensure timely delivery.
6. Sub-contractors Management: Manage subcontractors to meet quality and progress standards and delivery schedules.
7. Site Cost Management: Monitor project costs, control expenditures, and manage local purchasing within delegated authority.
8. Documentation: Maintain accurate and updated documentation, ensuring the use of latest revisions for construction work.
9. People Leadership: Organize, staff, and develop the team, providing guidance, motivation, and performance reviews. Manage site facilities and logistics.
Summary: Supervise a team in executing tasks within an assigned area, ensuring proper work assignment and performance management. Candidates should have several years of experience as a Site Supervisor, with expertise in Site Management, HSE, Environment, Quality Assurance & Control, Installation Works, and basic knowledge of Commissioning and Civil Works.
