Pricing Executive Location: Shepperton, Surrey Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday A well-established freight forwarding and logistics company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pricing Executive to join its growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with freight forwarding experience who enjoys building customer relationships, sourcing competitive rates, and supporting business growth through accurate and timely quotations. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing customer pricing requests, liaising with suppliers and carriers, and ensuring quotations are delivered efficiently and competitively. Experience within Air and Sea Freight pricing is essential, with Road Freight knowledge considered advantageous. Key Responsibilities of a Pricing Executive Prepare and manage customer quotations across Air, Sea, and Multimodal freight services. Communicate directly with customers to understand shipment requirements and provide tailored pricing solutions. Source competitive rates from carriers, suppliers, and overseas partners. Follow up on quotations and customer feedback to maximise conversion opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal departments. Ensure all pricing information is accurate, commercially viable, and delivered within agreed timeframes. Maintain organised records of quotations, pricing data, and customer communications. Work closely with operations and commercial teams to support company objectives and customer requirements. Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and service levels. Daily Duties of a Pricing Executive Review incoming quotation requests from customers and internal stakeholders. Contact carriers, suppliers, and agents to obtain current freight rates. Follow up on outstanding pricing requests to ensure timely responses. Compare and evaluate multiple supplier options to identify the most suitable solution. Prepare detailed pricing sheets and customer quotations. Monitor quotation pipelines and maintain accurate records of all activity. Skills & Experience Required of a Pricing Executive Previous experience within Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Supply Chain. Strong understanding of Air Freight and Sea Freight pricing. Road Freight knowledge would be advantageous. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively. Proactive approach with strong follow-up and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and freight forwarding systems.
