Job Overview
The position of a Senior Quantity Surveyor is available to join our successful team based in Plymouth. We are working on a large infrastructure upgrade programme to support the MODs future requirements in relation to both its warship and submarine programme. The role involves flexible working either home based with an option to visit the project twice a month or project based if preferred. This position requires a minimum of 3 days on site, 2 days working from home.
Responsibilities
* Overall NEC 4 Contract Management utilising CEMAR for administration
* Application assessment & agreement
* Forecasting & variance reporting
* Auditing & verification of defined cost
* Change management NEC Process
* Management of extra scope & budget verification
* Involvement in monthly cost & value reporting
Essential Skills & Experience
* Post‑graduate commercial experience in the construction industry with demonstrable track record of achievement
* Demonstrable financial and commercial acumen
Essential Qualifications
* Holds an RICS / CICES accredited degree
Desirable Skills & Experience
* A creative and innovative approach to problem solving
* Extensive civils experience on NEC forms
* Main contracting background
* CEMAR experience
Desirable Qualifications
* Senior Quantity Surveyor will hold or be nearing completion of Full Membership with RICS / CIEC
