About Us:
We are seeking a large, Ofsted 'Outstanding’ school in the Borough of Barking and Dagenham. From September, they are looking for a long-term Year 5 Teacher. The successful Year 5 Teacher will be committed to providing high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment for the children. Key Responsibilities:
* Ability to work successfully as part of a team as a Year 5 Teacher
* Raise standards for all pupils, including underachieving pupils
* Promote positive behaviour conducive to learning, focused on raising standards
* Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback accordingly.
* Contribute to the wider initiatives within the school.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* QTS or equivalent
* At least 2 years’ experience
* Excellent understanding of the National Curriculum
* Prior experience as a Year 5 Teacher
* UK classroom-based experience
