Overview
We are working with a well-regarded Primary School in Wolverhampton who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Behaviour Mentor to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to children's learning and wellbeing by providing targeted support outside of the classroom.
Responsibilities
* Delivering 1:1 and small group intervention sessions focused on behaviour and emotional regulation.
* Supporting children with Autism and ADHD to develop social, emotional, and coping strategies.
* Working closely with the pastoral team to implement behaviour management plans.
* Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils to help them engage with learning.
* Monitoring progress and feeding back to teachers and senior leaders.
Qualifications
* Must have experience supporting children with Autism and ADHD, ideally in a school or specialist setting.
* Skilled in managing challenging behaviour and using de-escalation techniques.
* Able to remain calm, patient, and resilient under pressure.
* Confident in working independently outside of the classroom environment.
* Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
