Fabricator Welder – Day Shift – £15.50 per hour – Temp to Perm – Long-Term Work BCS Connect are recruiting for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join a well-established engineering company offering ongoing long-term work, immediate starts, and a temp-to-perm opportunity. We are looking for a Fabricator Welder, MIG Welder, or Welder Fabricator with a strong background in steel fabrication, who can work confidently from engineering drawings. Key Responsibilities – Fabricator Welder: MIG welding mild steel components to high standards Fabricating from technical and engineering drawings Operating cutting, grinding, drilling, and fabrication equipment Ensuring all work meets required quality and safety standards Working both independently and within a team in a busy workshop environment Requirements: Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder, MIG Welder, Welder Fabricator, or similar role Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication blueprints Proficient in MIG welding techniques (preferably on mild steel) Experience in structural steel, heavy engineering, or general metal fabrication Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious Own basic PPE and welding mask Pay, Hours, and Contract: £15.50 per hour PAYE Day shift: Monday to Friday Early finish on Fridays Ongoing long-term work with permanent positions available after probation Weekly pay, holiday accrual, pension enrolment Location: Commutable from Wolverhampton, Walsall, Cannock, Birmingham, Aldridge, Stafford How to Apply: To apply for this Fabricator Welder role, contact Richard Bourne at BCS Connect today
