About Our Client

Our Client is a global market leader within their respective industry, supporting a diverse customer base across the UK, Europe, Asia, Africa & the Americas. This is a key role focused on managing Customer Service & Internal Sales functions, with a focus on improving efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Job Description

* Direct management of the Customer Service & Internal Sales functions based in Leeds
* Ensure customer quotations are accurate and meet customer needs and expectations
* Drive up-selling activity across customer orders, ensuring customers are aware of all product ranges available
* Ensure the team has all necessary product information, training, and tools to provide suitable customer options
* Follow up on customer quotations, manage and achieve conversion rates
* Take ownership of escalated customer issues, resolving them promptly with minimal impact
* Build customer loyalty through transparent communication and world-class service
* Support Sales Managers as required
* Collaborate with purchasing to understand stock and product availability
* Monitor, manage, and improve customer satisfaction results

The Successful Applicant

* Experience in management or supervisory roles within internal sales or customer service, ideally in supply chain or distribution sectors
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (desirable)
* Strong commercial acumen
* Customer-focused approach
* Ability to build strong internal stakeholder relationships
* Experience in the chemical industry (desirable)
