Main Purpose and Responsibilities
The Digital Marketing Consultant will design and execute digital strategies, specialising in promoting and optimising content across SEO, social media, email, and paid advertising. The role focuses on increasing awareness, building brand visibility, and driving revenue growth within the sector. You will set up, monitor, and optimise digital campaigns, track performance metrics, and provide detailed analytics and reporting to inform continuous improvement and strategic decision‑making.
* Coordinate and oversee integrated digital campaigns to drive awareness, contact generation, and pipeline growth.
* Manage SEO and PPC activity, ensuring ROI and clear performance accountability.
* Lead execution across digital channels including email, lead nurture, paid social, and web.
* Drive digital best practice through ongoing testing, experimentation, and optimisation.
* Manage and optimise Marketo and marketing automation workflows to support campaign delivery.
* Lead on marketing attribution strategy, developing and maintaining dashboards and reports in Marketo, Microsoft Dynamics, and Power BI to track MQLs, campaign performance, and ROI.
* Plan and manage paid media campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads), ensuring effective targeting and measurable outcomes.
* Collaborate with Sales to align marketing activity with pipeline goals and provide visibility into customer engagement.
* Test and refine landing pages, user journeys, and conversion funnels to maximise performance.
* Maintain and optimise website content to ensure it is accurate, up to date, searchable, and aligned with SEO best practices.
Minimum (Essential) Requirements
* Proven experience in developing and executing digital marketing strategies in a B2B environment.
* Strong knowledge of core digital channels, including SEO, paid media, social, email, and content marketing.
* Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., Marketo, Microsoft Dynamics).
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, build reports, and demonstrate ROI.
* Understanding of attribution models and marketing performance measurement.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling B2B content.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales and other stakeholders to drive pipeline impact.
* Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
Desirable
* Deep understanding of long, complex B2B sales cycles and how marketing can influence multiple touchpoints.
* Experience with multi‑channel attribution, marketing automation, and data‑driven campaign optimisation.
* Familiarity with B2B digital marketing best practices, including content strategy, paid media, SEO, and lead nurturing.
