Experience required
* UK experience within a public, private or third-sector UK-based client
* Degree in a related technical field (Water/Environmental/Civil Engineering) or equivalent experience
* Ability to demonstrate experience in leading technical inputs and project delivery for a range of network modelling and CSO spill reduction modelling
* Proficiency in using InfoWorks ICM modelling software to construct network and catchment models and develop solutions
* A solid understanding of hydraulic analysis and design
* GIS and its use in hydraulic schematisation as well as results analysis
* Build new and troubleshoot existing hydraulic models
* Assess sensibility of results, calibrate models and improve confidence in the outputs
* Data requirements and routes of procurement for hydraulic model builds.
* Preparing and presenting technical reports to meet industry standards and project objectives both internally and to external clients
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams involved in Water Company hydraulic modelling projects.
* Conducting checks on technical reports and calculation outputs
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* A full UK driving license
* Chartered or working towards Chartered status
* Experience in project management of flood risk or water related projects
* Relevant software skills GIS Mapping, AutoCAD
* Experience in providing technical training and mentoring to junior members of the team.
* Demonstratable experience in the application of flood risk management legislation, planning policy and industry guidance
* MEICA design legislation and process
