JOB TITLE: Operations Manager
Role Objective:
The Operations Manager is a key member of the store leadership team, responsible for implementing Alo’s operational strategy in the store. This role focuses on inventory management, labor planning, and scheduling, with the goal of ensuring the store is customer-ready at all times.
Responsibilities include:
* Oversee and support execution of operational processes
* Investigate inventory accuracy issues and partner with the Manager to address process or system gaps
* Maintain high operational standards on the salesfloor using business performance data
* Support sell-through management by ensuring inventory accuracy and coordinating labor for deliveries
* Support a safe and efficient work environment
Additional responsibilities:
* Represent the business in meetings and conference calls with the General Manager
* Monitor and manage the store budget, reporting, and key metrics like Expenses and Sell-Thru
* Plan workflows to optimize store performance
People Leadership:
* Lead the Operations team, embodying Alo's mission and principles
* Coach and develop team members, communicate effectively, and establish internal and external talent pipelines
* Create effective schedules aligned with business strategies in partnership with the General Manager
Business Partnership:
* Execute elements of the Alo Sales and Service Model to ensure operational efficiency
* Collaborate cross-functionally to support organizational goals and implement the vision of the Store Manager
* Balance business needs with brand culture in decision-making
Qualifications for Assistant Manager Leadership:
* Leadership experience in retail or related fields
* Proficiency in MS Office
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
* Motivated by fast-paced, innovative work environments
* Entrepreneurial mindset and personal accountability
* Legal right to work in the UK
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, including opening, closing, and weekend shifts, with schedule flexibility as needed.
