Our client, a leading organisation in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a highly skilled Project Manager for a contract position. This role entails working closely with Oil and Gas personnel to deploy products onto an Oil Rig. Familiarity with highly regulated, safety-critical environments is essential. Key Responsibilities: Leading the delivery of projects and supported business activities as specified in the Project Brief. Planning, budgeting, reporting, executing and delivering projects on time, within budget and to the required specifications. Supporting the Programme Delivery Practice tasks when required. Maintaining a high level of individual expertise and credibility through professional development. Managing and overseeing project tasks, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations. Developing and maintaining project plans, financial budgets, and resource requirements. Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers and ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Providing clear management to project teams and ensuring standards are met. Job Requirements: Experience in project management, preferably in a highly regulated environment. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and current practices. Project Management qualification (APM PMQ or equivalent) is essential. Relevant degree is desirable. Experience of delivering and integrating complex projects, with a background in Air Traffic Management being advantageous. Proven track record of building strong commercial relationships and managing contracts effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate with local management and project teams. Understanding of business drivers and ability to adapt projects to deliver business needs.
