About the role  

Working Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, you'll provide essential operational and customer service support across our shipping logistics activities. You'll be the link between customers, warehouses, transport planners, and internal teams, ensuring smooth delivery processes and accurate data flow.  

You will be responsible for:

* Delivering excellent customer service through clear and timely communication

* Processing call‑offs and updating stock and transport management systems

* Creating accurate documentation to support delivery and transport activity

* Liaising with warehouses and planners to ensure operational plans are achieved

* Monitoring delivery status and providing updates to customers throughout

* Capturing and inputting data for customer KPIs, returns, and reporting

* Maintaining accurate records for invoicing, reporting, and stakeholder communication

About you 

You'll be an effective communicator with strong organisational and planning skills, able to work at pace while juggling multiple priorities in a busy logistics environment. A natural problem‑solver, you'll bring a positive, proactive attitude and the confidence to question, challenge, and improve processes where needed. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential, along with solid computer literacy and a professional telephone manner. You'll thrive here if you are enthusiastic, resilient, and able to stay calm under pressure. Flexibility is key, as priorities can shift quickly, and you'll be someone who remains supportive, respectful, and collaborative with colleagues and customers. A commitment to service quality, a logical approach to tasks, and a thorough, detail focused mindset will help you succeed, especially when multitasking or working through complex queries.
