Job Advert Role Description
We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Combs Court in Stowmarket!
Combs Court comprises of three separate homes, and six individual flats which provide assessment and support for adults living with a primary learning disability diagnosis but may present complex conditions and mild to moderate challenging behaviours. There is ground floor accommodation and adapted equipment as required by individual needs.
Our Maintenance Person role involves responding to the needs of the services in respect of preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and building projects and repairs at Combs Court with due regard for the safety of the people we support, staff and public.
Previous experience in a similar role with a proven track record is required, working in a maintenance or building role along with a good understanding of health and safety legislation and the ability to complete regulatory checks and paperwork.
