Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Bid Writer role located in Washington. The Bid Writer will be responsible for preparing, writing, and submitting compelling proposals to secure contracts for commercial roofing projects. Responsibilities include conducting market research, analyzing client requirements, preparing detailed bids that meet industry standards, and collaborating with internal teams to gather project-specific information. The role requires staying up-to-date with industry regulations and maintaining efficient documentation workflows.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in Bid Writing, Proposal Writing, and Technical Writing
* Strong Research and Analytical skills for gathering and interpreting client requirements
* Proficiency in Document Management, Formatting, and Editing
* Knowledge of the construction and commercial roofing industry will be advantageous
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Exceptional time management and organizational abilities to meet deadlines
* Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other tools for bid preparation
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, English, Communications, or related field is preferred
